The Cast of "The Fall of Narnia"

So I was just thinking, perhaps you want to know the main cast of "The Fall of Narnia." Also known as "How Narnia Fell" on thelionscall.com. I decided that I would put the main cast here. Meaning these are the characters that are the most important in the story. Warning, there will be spoilers thrown out here and there. So if you don't want to spoil the story, I'd stay clear. Also, there will be a few things in pictures that are out of place. I tried to take pictures that would closely represent the characters, I ask you ignore things that seem out of place. Like the picture of Mr. Beaver standing beside the Centauride I chose to represent Summermane.

I will start us off with our main cast member, Henry Shepherd. He is the most important protagonist in the story because it is his spiritual journey that the story follows. In this story he is seventeen years old. He is dating Alice Smith. And he is also attending Oxford University in order to study English. He is smart and introverted mostly, but he isn't afraid to talk to people he knows. Nor is he afraid to cause trouble. He is also analytical, which is why it will take more than a near death experience in order to persuade him to come back to Christian faith. Due to the time he spent in a private school, he learned fencing, which helps him with his sword fighting. His dream is to become a teacher.

Alice Smith is another one of our main protagonists, but the story doesn't focus on her so much. Rather, she is the one who will mostly influence Henry's journey back to Christianity. Though timid by nature, Alice is loyal and steadfast. She is also prone to forget things. Her eyes are quick though, and she has a pretty good aim because her mother and father insisted that she learn archery during the times they spent in the countryside.  Her dream is to become a journalist.

Ventius the Faun is a loyal and steadfast Narnian who believes in what the Tales tell. He is swift and accurate, one of the best archers in Narnia at the time. He is calm and easygoing, and desires to help when he can. Despite the fact he knows its hopeless, he dreams to one day see Narnia fulfilled to proper glory. He is the ancestor of Mentius the Faun, and is also distantly related to Tumnus the Faun.

Don't pay attention to the Beaver
Summermane the Centauride is a stern and serious Narnian. And she is very smart. She refuses take nonsense from anyone, no matter who they are. Though a healer, Summermane is also skilled in sword fighting and archery. In this story, she will be of great influence with helping Henry become a better swordsman. Though a strong follower of Aslan, she struggles finding a balance between being a follower, and also trying to be a single mother to her son, Quickhoof; her husband having passed on to Aslan's Country. She is also the aunt of Glenstorm. She knows Narnia will fall to the Telmarines. So she dreams of being able to live long enough to see her son make it to adulthood. But if not, she dreams that she will die defending him.

Mevros is a fierce and proud Minotaur. But he is also honorable, something that many Minotaurs aren't, and loyal. He is the son of the Mávraíma Clan chief. Though we first meet him when he attacks Henry and Alice in Chapter 2, he later becomes one of the central good guys. This happens after Alice rescues him from Telmarines who attack him. He swears to protect and serve Alice until she decides to release him from the oath. His loyalty grows beyond just the oath though as he fights alongside the Loyal Narnians and helps Henry and the others on the quest to find the Horn of High Queen Susan. He is also a critical part in bringing the Minotaurs on the side of the Loyal Narnians. His dream is to one day reclaim his right to become chief when his father decides that he is unfit to become the next chief. He also dreams of one day winning the heart of the beautiful minotauride, Athidie.

Erdik is a Red Dwarf who is courageous and determined. He is a skilled strategist and is knowledgable in making weapons. He can be a bit doubtfall at times when it comes his faith in Aslan. It is because of him Henry learns that faith must be strong and be able to withstand against any kind of attack that life may throw. But he is loyal to his fellow Dwarfs and his fellow Loyal Narnians, and will not waver easily when it comes to his bond to them. He dreams of one day seeing that the Red Dwarfs and Black Dwarfs reuniting under just the title "Dwarfs."

Mathyr is a bold Satyr who is the high general over all the Loyal Narnian troops, a rare honor that is usually held only by Centaurs. Mathyr is not one to shy away from a battle or any kind of fight. But when you manage to talk some common sense into him, he usually understands why an attack must be held back or carried out at a different time. He is the husband of a female Satyrette* named Evrya, and she is pregnant with his child. His faith in Aslan isn't as strong as most Narnians, and he is quickly put into doubt. Usually his wife will steer him back on track though. His dream is to one day see Narnia restored to proper glory and see that his new family will grow up during that glorious time.

Forgive the Horns, I couldn't find a picture of a satyrette.

Evrya is a Satyrette who is just as bold as her husband, though more cooperative. She is a loyal wife who stays by her husband's side and won't easily leave him. She is the carrier of his child. Her faith in Aslan isn't as easily shaken as his, and she is often the ones who brings him back on track. She dreams of one day raising her new family during a new glorious age of Narnia.

Anoraseed, also known just as Anora, is a beech Dryad known for her beauty and for her cleverness. She is the daughter of one of my OC named Elloraleaf, who features in one of my other Narnia fics. Though clever, beautiful, and generally passive by nature, she is ferocious when provoked. She and her fellow Dryads under the command of Ventius the Faun, patrol the Lantern Waste and the borders of the Western Wild, the areas where both Telmarines and the Witch's forces like to attack. She dreams of bringing the Telmarines to justice for their crimes against the Holy Trees.

Serisawood, also known just as Serisa, is a service berry Dryad who serves as the messenger in the squadron of Dryads led by the Faun Ventius.  If it weren't for her quickness in getting Summermane, Henry probably would have died on his first day in Narnia. Though she isn't the most powerful of the Dryads, Serisa knows how to fight. Like Anoraseed and the rest of Trees of Lantern Waste, she dreams of bringing the Telmarines to justice for cutting their brothers and sisters down.

Caspian the First is the king of the Telmarines who first led his people into Narnia in hopes of establishing their new kingdom. The Narnians never paid them any heed at first because they were so busy fighting amongst themselves over who was going to rule the kingdom. But when Caspian the First ordered that some of the Trees of Lantern Waste be cut down, he aroused the anger of the Trees and the rest of the Narnians. In general, Caspian the First isn't really a cruel king. He only seeks to see his people prosper and live. Though he fails to realize this brings misery upon all of the original inhabitants of Narnia. Because he's rather young, still in his twenties, he's also rather uncertain at times. Often he will question himself and his actions. But he usually brushes these aside. This also comes from the fact that he is new to parenthood, because his wife had just given birth to a son whom they named Caspian the Second.

General Navranorn is Caspian the First's most trusted general. Though loyal and steadfast to Caspian the First, Navranorn is also quick to anger and doesn't like to be beaten. He will seek revenge in some way or another. He even vows revenge on Alice because she stopped him from attacking Mevros. Which is why he is more than willing to hunt down the party that is set in finding High Queen Susan's Horn.

Lupun is the alpha male of a pack of wolves that patrol the Lantern Waste. His pack is also in line with the Rebel Narnians. When the party set on finding Queen Susan's Horn wanders into his pack's territory, Lupun sends his wolves out to kill them. This leads to a slight skirmish. Though he doesn't play the most major role in the world, his order to attack gives Mevros a chance to prove his loyalty to Alice for the first time.

Loki is a Black Dwarf who is the leader of the Rebel Narnians. He seeks to corrupt Narnia and make it so that the Dwarfs will be able to rule Narnia instead of Adam's race. However, his efforts have also drawn the loyalty of other Narnian cultures; Satyrs, Fauns, Dryads, Naiads, Talking Beasts, etc. Loki was created to represent racist people and to also represent people who choose to ignore parts of Christ's teachings just so that they have an excuse to gain something they want. He was also created to help Henry understand the times for mercy and justice.

Vemros is the father of Mevros and the chief of the Mávraíma Clan. He is also one of the largest supporters of the creatures who seek to regain control of Narnia in the name of the White Witch. After Mevros tried to rebel against the way of life of the Minotaurs, Vemros and the council decided to punish his son by making him fight with standard troops. When Mevros comes to rescue Henry and Alice, he threatens to kill his son for treason. But by Aslan's will, Henry manages to use Vemros's pride against him to get him to fight Mevros in a duel to the death. The winner would get complete control of the clan. What the outcome of that duel is you will find out later as the story progresses.

*Though in Greek Myths Satyrs usually marry and fall in love with Wood and Water Nymphs (Dryads and Naiads) Satyrettes were created so as to keep non-humanoids from mating with humanoids.

Well, there you have it. That is the main cast that is featured throughout this fanfic. That isn't to say that those are the only characters. In fact, there are plenty more that haven't even been addressed yet, both major (though not as major as the ones listed above) and minor. I plan on putting a new page to this blog dedicated to naming the cast of "The Fall of Narnia."
